Trafalgar House, the pensions administration specialist, today announced that it has been appointed to provide pensions administration services to the Skanska Pension Fund, which has more than 7,000 members and over £750m of assets. The appointment took effect from 1 April 2020.
Daniel Taylor, Client Director at Trafalgar House said:
“We are very pleased to have been appointed by Skanska. Their selection process was one of the most rigorous and considered that we have been through and their internal pensions team have a wealth of knowledge that has genuinely helped to make the transition a complete success. What makes this doubly pleasing is that Skanska had the confidence to launch the service into live operation despite the current challenging conditions. This is a testament not only to the hard work that has gone into the transition process, but also the robustness of our business continuity planning.”
Philippa Smith, Head of Pensions at Skanska said:
“Pensions are taken seriously at Skanska and we set a high bar when selecting our pension scheme partners. We were looking for a provider who shared our values and would work in partnership with our pensions team to deliver the highest standard of service to the Trustee and our members. The team at Trafalgar House demonstrated exactly the right combination of technology, expertise and focus on the member experience that made them the clear choice and we look forward to a very successful, long-term partnership."
