Trafalgar House, the pensions administration specialist, has announced the launch of its new dedicated transition team. This comes in response to increased market demand and follows a sustained recruitment drive to bolster Trafalgar House’s existing team of specialists.
Garry Wake, Managing Director at Trafalgar House, said: “Administration transitions are complex and considerable skill is required to ensure effective delivery. A high-quality implementation is the driver for a high-quality ongoing service and making this significant investment in a new ringfenced team will allow us to support the onboarding needs of new schemes, whilst making sure existing clients continue to enjoy the superior service we are known for.
“Widespread cases of persistently poor quality and member care mean that many schemes are now out in the market looking for a provider that can offer a safe, sustainable long-term home for their administration. Committing additional resources to our transition function means we are fully equipped to help more schemes safely transfer services and deliver an improved service from day-one of live operations.”
As part of the development of the team, Trafalgar House has appointed Stephen Perkins as Business Analyst and Jerone Rose-Cooper as Junior Business Analyst. Both will supplement existing resources in this team and will be joined by a further new addition in the coming weeks. The new team will be led by Gillian Hickey, Implementation Manager.
Hickey commented: “Stephen and Jerone’s skillsets and passion for high-quality service made them the ideal appointments into our transition team. Focusing exclusively on new client installations, their combined experience means they will make a valuable contribution to our existing capacity and expertise – we are very pleased to have them on board.”
Stephen Perkins has worked in pensions administration for eight years and joins Trafalgar House from Goddard Perry, where he was Pension Systems Manager. Alongside his previous experience on supporting implementations, Stephen has also worked on projects covering benefit reviews and re-working of scheme benefits, workflow and documentation standardisation.
Jerone Rose-Cooper has worked in pensions administration for seven years and joins Trafalgar House from SAUL Trustee Company, where he was Benefit Technician. Jerone’s career has included working on projects covering testing calculations and communications as well as delivering various technical training sessions.
