Secretary to the Trustee

The main purpose of job:

We are searching for an experienced trustee secretary to provide support services to a large defined benefit pension scheme. The role will require you to primarily facilitate the proper functioning of the trustee board.

You will have a central role in coordinating the main board and sub-committee meetings, minuting and following up on agreed actions. With a focus on driving forward robust governance, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the risk management framework and associated projects. You will also oversee IDRPs and discretionary cases and draft regular communication on behalf of the Trustee

APMI qualified/equivalent, you will have strong communication, organisational and project management skills, coupled with exposure to the delivery of robust scheme governance and risk management requirements. Five years relevant experience in this role is essential.

The role sits within a broader Client Relationship Management team, but the duties will be focussed on supporting just one large hybrid scheme. Experience from an in-house team delivering this type of service will be beneficial.

We can offer flexibility with options for home working one or two days a week, depending on meeting cycles and client needs.

This is a rare opportunity to provide trustee secretarial support services similar to an in-house style and approach, in a successful and vibrant consultancy environment.
