Trafalgar House, the pensions administration specialist, today announced that it has been appointed to provide pension administration services to the NFU Mutual Retirement Benefit Scheme, a hybrid scheme with over £1.1bn in assets and more than 9,000 members. The appointment took effect from 1 July 2021.
Daniel Taylor, Client Director at Trafalgar House, said:
“It was clear from the outset that the Trustee was looking for an administrator that has a strong focus on customer service with high-quality people and systems being key requirements. NFU Mutual employs financially sophisticated people, so it was important to find an administrator that could effectively support members that expect the highest standards. It’s especially pleasing to have been able to demonstrate our technical expertise and service quality when securing this appointment.”
Jackie Baker, Pensions Manager & Secretary to the Trustee at NFU Mutual, said:
“It was important for us that our new administrator understood the nuances of our hybrid scheme and could show their experience working with mixed benefits. Trafalgar House’s expertise was clear to see, meaning we could be comfortable in a seamless transition, as well as a robust and effective long-term service for the future.
Their approach to technology, not only to enhance the experience of our members, but also for transparency, governance and interaction was a key factor for us. They were able to clearly demonstrate their commitment to a modern administration service as well as online services to our members that tick all the right boxes.”
